Straw yellow in colour with light greenish hues, on the nose La Segreta Bianco has a lively aromatic bouquet, with scents of lychee, pineapple, kumquat and peach with mineral and herbal notes, and hints of flint, peppers and wild mint; on the palate it is full and dry, balanced by the acidity, typical of this variety, leaving a long finish. The wine is smooth and supple, with a satisfying aftertaste of mint.
Excellent as an aperitif, but also with raw dishes (including seafood), lightly fried food, mixed salads and white soft cheese. A party wine, ideal companion to young, creative cuisine. Perfect with the shellfish of the Sicilian coastline, octopus, mussels, clams, limpets, sea urchins and crab, and all first courses with fish and vegetables. It pairs well with panelle (deep-fried chickpea pancakes) and rice or potato croquettes.
