Straw-yellow in colour with light green tinges, particularly clear, on the nose this Pinot Bianco has a flowery scent, intense and balanced, fresh, turning into a delicate and persistent aroma in which a trace of bitter almond can be noted.
Premier grape species, incorrectly called Borgogna Bianco, particularly suited to the hillside areas. Imported from France in the remote past, is now thrives in Friuli, particularly in the hilly Collio area. On the estate fo the Azienda Agricola Mario Schiopetto, this wine has been planted in prevalently marly soils on hillside sites that are exposed to steady breezes, a location to which it is especially partial. This vine produces small, compact bunches, with round-shaped golden yellow grapes.
